How is O'Malley Home Care different?

We are not a franchise, nor a large corporation managed by people who have never been a caregiver before. We are a family-owned business inspired by caring for our own loved ones. This allows us to be more compassionate, creative, and flexible in meeting the needs of what we consider our client family. For us, this is not work. It is our passion and it brings us joy!

Are you licensed and certified? 

Yes! We are licensed through the Colorado Department of Public Health and in good standing with both the Secretary of State and the Better Business Bureau.

How are your employees vetted?     

Our caregivers and staff have a state and federal background check, CAPS check (Colorado Adult Protective Services), and drug testing upon hire and one random drug test per year. Caregivers are also supervised and evaluated throughout the year. 

How are your caregivers trained? 

Our caregivers are trained through CareAcademy as well as in-person, hands-on training. They also have an annual curriculum throughout the year and access to specialized training in specific areas of need and interest such as dementia care, cultural competency, body mechanics and preventing injury, caring for LGBTQ+ older adults, problem solving and time management, cancer care, Parkinsons, heart disease, and many more. 

What forms of payment do you take?

We take private pay and will be adding the major insurers very soon. 

Are you open nights and weekends? 

Yes! We provide care 7 days per week, day and night. Although our office is open M-F 9:00-5:00, we have management on call 24/7.

How do you ensure quality control?

We have a detailed quality management policy that requires us to identify, monitor, and correct issues that may arise. We stay in communication with our clients regularly to be sure they are thrilled with the care they receive from us. We welcome any and all feedback from our clients and their loved ones to be sure the caregiver is a good fit and that we are consistently going above and beyond in their care.
